My testimony<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

I was born in a Slovakian village to a loving Christian family and at the age of 18 I experienced the biggest heartbreak a young adult can ever experience. My Dad found himself a girlfriend which affected not just my Mom\u2019s life, but also me, my two sisters, my grandparents, and all my other family members.

As my life kept going, I moved to Canada and built my life here. I fell in love, got married and became a loving mom of 3. I thought I had built myself a perfect life and I was happy, until January 2017 when my life had completely changed. I had found out my husband within these 14 years had been unfaithful to me.

My whole world I had been building for the last 16 years collapsed in a just a matter of a couple days. The pain I felt in my heart was unbearable, and just plain awful. It felt like my heart just wanted to stop. I was experiencing this horrible pain for 20 days until Valentine\u2019s Day came and I received a Valentine\u2019s card from my youngest son\u2019s preschool.

It said write on it. \u201cTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)\u201d. And after I read that promise everything changed. I decided to surrender to God and let him guide me in my not so certain future.

When my husband got home, I asked him to come upstairs to our bedroom so our children would not hear us and I said this to him. \u201cPlease pack your bag and leave.\u201d Which then he replied, \u201cDo you want to know who she is?\u201d And I said,\u201d No!\u201d After that he packed his bags and left the house. That was the end of my marriage and beginning of my healing journey with God. After 23 years of my Mom\u2019s broken marriage, I have witnessed my Mom living in pain, regret, and loneliness and I didn\u2019t want that for my life.

So I had made my decision to fully surrender, trust God and his will for the rest of my life and I\u2019m beyond blessed for making that decision because after almost 5 years, I have been able to be joyful, loving, free, independent, caring, and completely healed from not just being betrayed by my ex-husband but also from every pain I had experienced prior to that situation. I have found a passion for the broken human heart, and broken people, and I have decided to put together a healing mentorship.
